The petals of this tulip are delicate-looking, yet sturdy. They are fuchsia-pink and white, in near enough equal measure, often with green markings in the white sections. The flowers are beautifully bowl-shaped, and become even more dramatic when they open out fully. They appear over several weeks in April and May. From a distance, you could easily mistake these late-flowering tulips for dramatic peonies, so Tulip 'Double Blizz' is an excellent choice for extending the blooming season.
