When fully open, the flowers of Paeonia 'Top Brass' comprise large ivory white outer petals, surrounding a mass of similarly coloured smaller petals with a canary yellow collar, surrounded by a central tuft of pink petals. As a plus, side buds are produced on short lateral joints, meaning that the summer flowering season is extended. Paeonia lactiflora 'Top Brass' is one of a very small number of tri-coloured peonies, and it deserves to be given pride-of-place in the garden.
