Growing to a height of around 1m with a nice, bushy habit, not only can it slot into smaller borders where it won’t grow too big or dominate its neighbours, it can also fit nicely into a large container, creating a fabulous focal point on a terrace, patio or balcony. Deutzia 'Raspberry Sundae' is perfectly happy in sun or in partial shade, and tolerates most garden soils as long as they don’t dry out. Once established, its branches are simply laden with flowers during this period, in a soft shade of white brushed with raspberry pink, delicately scented and attractive to pollinators.
